Information  for  your visit

While the lamb feeding occurs under cover, the walkways and toilet facilities are outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather; sturdy shoes and long trousers are essential, and wellies and waterproofs are recommended.

Avoid wearing your best clothes, as animals may not be particular about where they relieve themselves!

Even though a boot wash is provided, it is recommended to bring footwear to change into before you leave and a carrier bag to place dirty footwear into.

It is important that soiled clothing is changed out of and washed as soon as possible.

As a working farm, we strive to maintain safety, but rocks and pathways can become slippery in wet conditions. Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times, and visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Failure to follow instructions may result in guests being asked to leave.

Lambing activities are not suitable for pregnant women or those trying to become pregnant. Therefore it is recommended that they do not visit the farm.

Please note: dogs, smoking, eating, and are not permitted on-site.

After your visit, you will be directed to the handwashing area; please follow the printed instructions for thorough handwashing before you leave.

Always adhere to signage and staff advice for your safety.

Due to the unpredictability of nature and our commitment to animal welfare, feeding routines and demonstrations may change without notice, and we reserve the right to cancel any event at any time.

This is a ticketed event only; no admission without a valid ticket.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or belongings during your visit. While we take every precaution to ensure a safe experience, Kirket Nook Farm is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur.

Both experiences involve contact with hay and straw and animals, which may trigger allergies to pollen or dust, so please consider this when booking and ensure asthmatics have their inhalers.
